Know all men by these presents that [we?] Caroline Wrathbone 
and John H. Mull & B. F. Hawkins, are firmly held and bound 
unto the said state in the sum of five hundred dollars, to the
payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors,
administrators jointly and severally. firmly by these presents
signed with our hands and sealed with our seals 11th day of
December AD, 1860.

The condition of this obligation is such that if the above 
bounden Caroline Wrathbone and others shall will truly keep 
a certain Bastard child. (male)of which she now refuses to 
declare the father, from becoming chargeable to said county. 
Then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full 
force & [?]
